Thursday, May 13 – Retention as the Foundation for Growth

Sandy Diao

Sandy Diao is a growth executive with a track record of scaling user bases from zero to hundreds of millions. Diao has led growth teams for over 12 years at industry-leading companies such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) to build full-funnel growth programs for hundreds of millions of users, Pinterest as the first B2B growth hire to acquire the first million business customers, and Descript (Series C led by OpenAI and a16z) as the first growth hire. Diao is the founder at Drift International, where she advises early stage companies on growth marketing, and is a keynotes speaker at conferences like TechCrunch Disrupt and CES.

What are the attendance requirements?
To receive the certificate, you must attend 4 out of 4 live class sessions and complete the final growth project. Alternative arrangements can be made for those unable to attend live sessions.
What is the time commitment?
Classes meet twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-7:30PM PT, with optional assignments between sessions.
Are there any prerequisites?
No formal prerequisites are required. Basic marketing concepts and data analysis are suggested.
